Who are you?

My name is Jonathan Bartell and I am a man whose heart is after God and his people. I am young by nurture but wise by nature. I am gifted to do many things, but purposed to do to the plan of God.

What do you do?

Currently, a student at Wayne State University where my major is Marketing, Youth Leader/Minister, designer, and musician.

What are you passionate about?

Encouraging and propelling others to be the person they were born to be has always been my passion. While others gained satisfaction from teasing others, I gained it from giving compliments and words of inspiration.

Strength refers to the quality or state of being strong; bodily or muscular power; vigor; mental power, force; moral power, firmness, courage; power by reason of influence, authority, resources, numbers, etc. What makes you strong? Tell us how it strengthens you.

What makes me strong is not the ability to withstand the storms of life, but it’s solely on my weaknesses dependence on Gods strength alone. He doesn’t just play a big role in my life, He is everything.

Empowerment refers to increasing the spiritual, political, social, educational, gender, or economic strength of individuals and communities. Where does your sense of empowerment derive from?

My sense of empowerment is driven by the unanswered questions, unfilled voids, and unplanned minds of this generation. Finding a solution to these needs, keep my mind sharp and focused on proactively challenging myself to extend help by any means.

Classy refers to being elegant, stylish; having or reflecting high standards of personal behavior; admirably skillful and graceful. How important is it to maintain a sense of class in your life or field?

Class is very important. I always say that having a good name is far better than having a great job. Maintaining a high standard earns you much respect.

Life is truly a journey. Are you proud of where and who you are right now? Why?

Life is a treasure; many people have it but very few cherish it for what it is. There will always be more to learn, gain, understand, and achieve but I am proud of my life. I’m privileged to touch the lives of thousands daily. Motivating others, in return motivates me.

If you had the opportunity to speak for the masses, what would you say?

If privileged with the opportunity to share words with the masses, I wouldn’t take it for granted. Everyone I speak with will not leave the room without knowing that there is something greater inside of them than they were formerly aware of.
