Who are you?

My name is Kassondra Perry-Moreland and I am a child of the most High God. I also am the owner of the Facebook group: Kassondra’s 52 Week Money Challenge, and Facebook page: Kassondra’s 52 Week Savings
Challenge.

What do you do?

I am a single mother of two, who has worked full time as a 9-1-1 dispatcher for the last 23 years.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about assisting others to attain their goals spiritually and financially.

Strength refers to the quality or state of being strong; bodily or muscular power; vigor; mental power, force; moral power, firmness, courage; power by reason of influence, authority, resources, numbers, etc. What makes you strong? Tell us how it strengthens you.

My God makes me strong. There is no one or anything that motivates me more than pleasing God. I have never been a people pleaser by choice, but I am a servant by nature, so in pleasing God the people around me always seem to be pleased and well served.

Empowerment refers to increasing the spiritual, political, social, educational, gender, or economic strength of individuals and communities. Where does your sense of empowerment derive from?

Right now I feel a sense of empowerment because I am helping so many people with a simple savings plan that has apparently been around for years. I discovered it on my Facebook page on January 2, 2013, and decided that I was going to do it so I asked my family who wanted to do it with me. I created a page to make sure that I could remind my family and friends to make their deposits and it went viral in a matter of hours. I have created a community of empowered people who found out that they could save and could achieve their goals in life.

Classy refers to being elegant, stylish; having or reflecting high standards of personal behavior; admirably skillful and graceful. How important is it to maintain a sense of class in your life or field?

Class is a must in everything I do. Whether in church, posting on my page in Facebook or simply hanging out with my children and their friends, I have fun, but must maintain a certain air about myself to always let other know that I’ve been raised right and know how to handle any situation with style and grace.

Life is truly a journey. Are you proud of where and who you are right now? Why?

Absolutely! For no reason, other than God’s will, I am at the center of a social media world wind! I am influencing thousands of lives. Although the group boasts 4,000 members, there are countless individuals and churches doing the challenge for at least as many different reasons. I am very proud of who I am and where I am right now.

AllINeedIsOneMic.com is a company that may also feature the Jane Thang Productions, LLC’s Strong, Empowered and Classy Highlights. The premise of this site refers to needing that one opportunity to present your talent and shine. If you had the opportunity to speak for the masses, what would you say?

If I had the opportunity to speak for the masses, I would say that it is all about accountability! If you have someone holding you accountable, you are more likely to do what you make up in your mind to do.  Whether it is me or God, it’s all about accountability.
