Who are you?

My name is Kelechi Anyadiegwu and I am Strong, Empowered and Classy.

What do you do?

I’m currently working on a couple projects. I’m the founder of JELYPals, which is an edtech startup that seeks to use education and technology to create bridges in the African Diaspora. I’m a freelance social media manager and I work mainly with companies that are trying to get women into the technology industry.

What are you passionate about?

I think question two explains it all. I’m really interested in working in the technology industry (with an emphasis on user experience design) and marrying that with my interests in youth and female empowerment and the African diaspora.

Empowerment refers to increasing the spiritual, political, social, educational, gender, or economic strength of individuals and communities. Where does your sense of empowerment derive from?

My sense of empowerment derives from my role models. I have lots of people that I look up to in my life, but I would say the two that hit closest to home, are my parents. I feel like it’s the impact they have had in my life that have shaped the women I am today.

Classy refers to being elegant, stylish; having or reflecting high standards of personal behavior; admirably skillful and graceful. How important is it to maintain a sense of class in your life or field?

Very, I hope to one day be a women that young girls look up too and I want to be a role model that is strong, empowered, and classy. I almost feel like it’s my duty.
