Who are you?

My name is Marcella Mollon-Williams. I am, Strong, Empowered and Classy.

Legacy Builder Group’s overall mission is to provide unique education that enables individuals and business owners to pursue proven, secure methods to enhance overall wealth. I also manage my daughter’s career. My 13 year old daughter, Gabrielle J. Williams is an author, speaker, jewelry designer and owner of Jewelz of Jordan as well as support my son, Daniel, in his blogging site – The D-Dan Reviews.

It’s a tough job but someone has to do it (smile).

IMG_4928-EditWhat are you passionate about?

I am passionate about being a Legacy Builder. I define Legacy Building as the act of building up and enforcing what was pasted on to us by our predecessors.  My family’s legacy means a great deal to me and I was raised to uphold our legacy of love (family & God). As time went by, our legacy of entrepreneurship/leadership became important followed by a legacy of financial responsibility which my brother and I vowed to uphold. Thus, the birth of our business, LBG Financial Services.

Strength refers to the quality or state of being strong; bodily or muscular power; vigor; mental power, force; moral power, firmness, courage; power by reason of influence, authority, resources, numbers, etc. What makes you strong? Tell us how it strengthens you.

My strength comes from God and family. No matter what I am going through, I know that I have the love of God and He will NEVER give me more than I can handle. If I am going through a lot, then God is telling me that I can handle a lot and that right there, gives me great strength. Also, I come from a close-knit family and they are a constant source of strength for me.

Marcella Mollon-WilliamEmpowerment refers to increasing the spiritual, political, social, educational, gender, or economic strength of individuals and communities. Where does your sense of empowerment derive from?

Reading biographies and listening to the stories of others are constant reminders that there is ALWAYS someone who had or has it worse. With that, I feel guilty if I even attempt to throw myself a pity party. Those stories make me regroup, get my mind right, and keep it moving.

Classy refers to being elegant, stylish; having or reflecting high standards of personal behavior; admirably skillful and graceful. How important is it to maintain a sense of class in your life or field?

Maintaining a sense of class is one of my top priorities. We live in an era where there seems to be less of an emphasis on class and elegance, as if it is no longer “in style”. From elementary school through college, I was the one that stuck out because I did not dress like everyone else. When my class mates where wearing sneakers and jeans, I was wearing pumps with the matching purse. However, how I carry myself has always been a reflection of how I felt about myself. Elegance, a positive self-image and high standards were passed down to me from my mother and watching my 13 year old daughter embracing these same standards, brings me great joy.

Marcella Mollon-WilliamLife is truly a journey. Are you proud of where and who you are right now? Why?

I am proud of where I am because I am still moving forward on this journey. There is no stopping, no turning back, just the consistent act of forward movement. There may be some road bumps and detours along the way but as long as I am moving in the right direction, making a positive impact in the lives of others and seeing positive “fruit” along the way, I am at peace.

If you had the opportunity to speak for the masses, what would you say?

Legacy Building is developed by incorporating a legacy mindset. A legacy mindset begins with the end in mind. So, it does not matter what you do or don’t do, you will leave a legacy. The question is – what kind of legacy are you leaving?
