Who are you?

My name is Rashad Jackson. I am, Strong, Empowered and Classy.

What do you do?

I am a Co-Owner of Space Monkeys Productions, Director of Photography, Video Editor, Audio Engineer, and ACN representative.

What are you passionate about?

I am very passionate about always having a chance to create my own artistic expression through almost any medium. Whether its video, photo, or sound waves, it’s a chance to add myself to the mix. I love the freedom of choice, and being able to work with all of my friends on a regular basis to bring each others dreams to life.

Strength refers to the quality or state of being strong; bodily or muscular power; vigor; mental power, force; moral power, firmness, courage; power by reason of influence, authority, resources, numbers, etc. What makes you strong? Tell us how it strengthens you.

The main force that keeps me driven in life is the force of GOD. What encourages me is the will to be and do more for the people I love. I grew up not having much and learned at an early age that the best way to help my loved ones in hard times was for me to be a better me, to better help them. If my family or friends need something but do not have the means, then I go out in the world and GET IT; by any means necessary.

Empowerment refers to increasing the spiritual, political, social, educational, gender, or economic strength of individuals and communities. Where does your sense of empowerment derive from?

I would not be who I am, where I am, or have what I have (Family, Friends, Church) if it weren’t for God. I dont even like thinking about what life could have been without God’ s grace. I have an incredible family for supporting me in the arts, I have AMAZING friends that are just simply AMAZING at what they do, and a spectacular church that allows me to practice and refine my crafts. With a foundation like that, combined with the power of God there is no reason for me to think I can’t achieve anything.

Classy refers to being elegant, stylish; having or reflecting high standards of personal behavior; admirably skillful and graceful. How important is it to maintain a sense of class in your life or field?

Having class in my particular field is just as important if not more than having great ability. Class in terms of style, is good to show the world around you that you have flavor, creativity, and personality. It shows how serious and professional you are. When the suit comes off, class must still be represented by your attitude, personalty, character, humbleness, and intellect. It doesn’t matter how skilled you are, who you know, and how well you dress if people can’t stand to be around you. We are all Gods children so it’s our job to have a higher standard in every aspect of ourselves.

Life is truly a journey. Are you proud of where and who you are right now? Why?

I am absolutely proud to be where and who I am today! Business and life success run parallel to each other, you start small and work your way up, you have to crawl before you can walk. Looking back in my life and seeing all the hardship, and just remembering where my spirit and my mind was is incredible. Everything that I learn in business applies to real life situations. You can’t grow a business if you can’t grow inside yourself. Who and where I am now is better than I could have ever imagined. It is very clear to me that God has control, always has and always will. With that in mind, I am excited I see what else God has in store for me and everyone I do business with.

If you had the opportunity to speak for the masses, what would you say?

Business and life success run paralell to each other, you start small and work your way up. Leonardo Da’Vinchi was not born a master artist, Michael Jackson was not born a master singer, and Steve Jobs was not born a computer genius. What they all have in common is that they all had to find that one instrument that lets them express themselves, they all had a mentor, and they all failed miserably at something. Find your tool, a mentor, get inside that world, and do not fear failure. Failures are lessons. You have to do more than hope for the best. Faith without work is dead.
