Ryann Hayman Interview

Ryann Hayman

Ryann Hayman

Who are you?

RH: My name is Ryann Hayman and I am Strong, Empowered and Classy.

What do you do?

RH: I am the founder and creator of On the Record Magazine.  It is a blog that keeps readers updated with the latest and hottest news in entertainment.  I wear many hats as the creator of On the Record Magazine and they includes writing and editing articles as well as scheduling and conducting interviews.

What are you passionate about?

RH: I am extremely passionate about my blog and I am on a mission to have it printed and sold in stores.  The success of my blog means everything to me as a young woman trying to make a positive impression on the youth and young adults as well as my younger generation of family members.

Strength refers to the quality or state of being strong; bodily or muscular power; vigor; mental power, force; moral power, firmness, courage; power by reason of influence, authority, resources, numbers, etc. What makes you strong? Tell us how it strengthens you.

RH: What makes me strong is that I don’t give up on anything I do. Even when people say I can’t or I will not be able to do something, I do it anyway; not just to prove anyone wrong but because I know I can and will succeed if I keep fighting.  From the day I was born, I have had to battle to survive.  I was born with a rather large hole in my heart and I had to be cut from my chest to my belly button in order for them to repair it.  As you can imagine that was a difficult time for my family but I beat the odds and survived the surgeries and I use this experience as my motto for life.  I feel as if I can do anything.

Empowerment refers to increasing the spiritual, political, social, educational, gender, or economic strength of individuals and communities. Where does your sense of empowerment derive from?

RH: My sense of empowerment comes from being confident in myself and the example that I set everyday. I wear my confidence like I wear clothing or shoes; I never leave the house without it and I want to empower girls and young women in my community and nationwide.  I think if more young girls had a strong sense of confidence then many of us would know that our possibility to exceed is limitless.

Classy refers to being elegant, stylish; having or reflecting high standards of personal behavior; admirably skillful and graceful. How important is it to maintain a sense of class in your life or field?

RH: As for me there is nothing more attractive then a person who has class and isn’t afraid to show a high level of class regardless of the situation.  I feel that if you maintain a sense of class, people will give you more respect.  I walk with my head held high and a smile on my face despite what situation I may encounter.  I dress with a sense of confidence so that I can demand respect for myself as an intelligent woman.

Life is truly a journey. Are you proud of where and who you are right now? Why?

RH: Yes I am very happy with who I am and who I will become in the near future.  I am happy about who I am because I give 110% in everything I do.  Life is a journey and I am learning everyday and excited about the slideshow of life’s moments that I am creating.

AllINeedIsOneMic.com is a company that may also feature the Jane Thang Productions, LLC’s Strong, Empowered and Classy Highlights. The premise of this site refers to needing that one opportunity to present your talent and shine. If you had the opportunity to speak for the masses, what would you say?

RH: I would tell them to never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something when you know that you can.  Don’t let anyone talk down to you and always speak up for yourself and always stand by your word.  Lastly, never make someone a priority if they make YOU an option.
