Sheila Denanyoh Interview
Who are you?
My name is Sheila Denanyoh. I am an artist, lover, and humanitarian.
What do you do?
I am a fashion designer.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about art, life, good food, and making a difference in the world.
Strength refers to the quality or state of being strong; bodily or muscular power; vigor; mental power, force; moral power, firmness, courage; power by reason of influence, authority, resources, numbers, etc. What makes you strong? Tell us how it strengthens you.
My relationship with God makes me strong. It strengthens me by giving me peace of mind.
Empowerment refers to increasing the spiritual, political, social, educational, gender, or economic strength of individuals and communities. Where does your sense of empowerment derive from?
My sense of empowerment derives from my upbringing by my mother. She definitely empowered me and instilled in me the importance of empowering others at a very young age.
Classy refers to being elegant, stylish; having or reflecting high standards of personal behavior; admirably skillful and graceful. How important is it to maintain a sense of class in your life or field?
It’s always important for me to maintain a sense of class in my life. It’s a natural way in which I carry myself; a reflection off how I view myself and the height at which I would like to excel.
Life is truly a journey. Are you proud of where and who you are right now? Why?
Yes I am very proud of who and where I am right now because in retrospect, I am fully aware of what it took to get me here.
If you had the opportunity to speak for the masses, what would you say?
There’s a quote by an unknown source that I would like to share. It says, “So live that your memories will be part of your happiness”.
